We Look Forward to the 2020 Festival!

Our 2nd Annual Cowichan Valley Thrive Festival on Saturday August 31st IS COMPLETE and was another success!

The Wisdom Room was “a buzz” all day with Cowichan Elder – Della Rice Sylvester topping the list of interest; we have enjoyed her presence for two years in a row!  Kathy White Yoga opened the Move ‘n Groove with a lovely morning yoga session and for the second year in a row, we were blessed to have gold record recipient and Emmy Award recognized composer Carlos Planton wrap up the Soul Sound Station!

Our Wellness Marketplace showcased 23 Vendors, please check out the Vendor page to revisit the list of all of our Valley’s health and wellness practitioners.  If you are searching for a recommendation, please do not hesitate to ask.  We are all about continuing our mission of connecting, healing and inspiring!

WHAT’S NEXT? Well, we are really looking forward to growing the 2020 festival and would love your input, as we want to spread the word, establish sponsorship, create the best date possible and rock this thing!  Please complete this short survey to help us out:

Sending you blessings,

A Festival of “Awakening to Wholeness”

A festival of community connection and a celebration of awakening to wholeness. The Cowichan Valley has much to offer in wellness and the healing arts, the THRIVE Festival is a day of sharing, healing and inspiration. There is something for everyone.

How the Thrive Festival Came to Be…

The Cowichan Thrive Festival is a creation of Jody Jackson (Performance Coach, J2G) and Lyn Bull (Owner, Silverside Farm). Jody and Lyn have collaborated to bring together a festival of “awakening to wholeness” and a celebration of community connectedness to Silverside Farm. They hope to connect like-minded people of the Cowichan Valley with the many vibrant health and wellness offerings in our locale. Whether a professional, participant, entrepreneur or volunteer, it is an opportunity to come together as a community to share and participate, heal, and inspire.

What You Have to Look Forward To…

Silverside Farm is a landmark property located in Cobble Hill at 3810 Cobble Hill Rd. Come out and take in the pastoral views and fresh air while participating in a variety of wellness activities. There is something for everyone at the Cowichan Thrive Festival; enjoy listening to informative speakers or soulful music, move in a Yoga, Qigong or Zumba flow, stroll the many vendors or visit the farm animals while eating one of our famous frozen yogurt cones.

Thank you for your support of our festival!
