Notice: 2020 Festival
The 2020 THRIVE Festival will be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is our highest priority to protect our community, thus we are following the directive of Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer of British Columbia. In light of the situation, we will be pivoting our efforts into planning for next year’s festival… in addition to introducing new initiatives to be announced soon!
Any questions, suggestions, or pictures you are willing to share of our previous two festivals, please get in touch.
Sending you blessings,
Lyn Bull and Jody Jackson
A Festival of “Awakening to Wholeness”
A festival of community connection and a celebration of awakening to wholeness. The Cowichan Valley has much to offer in wellness and the healing arts, the THRIVE Festival is a day of sharing, healing and inspiration. There is something for everyone.
How the Thrive Festival Came to Be…
The Cowichan Thrive Festival is a creation of Jody Jackson (Performance Coach, J2G) and Lyn Bull (Owner, Silverside Farm). Jody and Lyn have collaborated to bring together a festival of “awakening to wholeness” and a celebration of community connectedness to Silverside Farm. They hope to connect like-minded people of the Cowichan Valley with the many vibrant health and wellness offerings in our locale. Whether a professional, participant, entrepreneur or volunteer, it is an opportunity to come together as a community to share and participate, heal, and inspire.
What You Have to Look Forward To…
Silverside Farm is a landmark property located in Cobble Hill at 3810 Cobble Hill Rd. Come out and take in the pastoral views and fresh air while participating in a variety of wellness activities. There is something for everyone at the Cowichan Thrive Festival; enjoy listening to informative speakers or soulful music, move in a Yoga, Qigong or Zumba flow, stroll the many vendors or visit the farm animals while eating one of our famous frozen yogurt cones.
Thank you for your support of our festival!
